just thought about a question:
is dice a finite state machine?
i think dice is a kind of complex finite state machine. Although it seems the number you get everytime by throwing out the dice is not dependable on the previous number, by throwing as many times as possible, you will get equal times of every number, or we can say state, so it seems it really can "remember" its all previous states somehow. This is really magic i must say!

#1 meeting
Living Art, building something alive, breathing, can "listen" and "speak", that's what interpret Living Art, cool! I'm ready! But i'm still on waitlist #5, hope i could get in.
Some keywords i wrote down on my note during class, pretty cool words:
presense, context, memory, sense, rythm, symmetry, system, rule, protocol, state, structure, generative, living, participation, random, interacting, participating
and some sentences...
define things differently may change your solution
many things are what you are already doing
Assignment:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reading: Pattern on the Stone
Make a Finite State Machine.
Read about Wolfram
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Suggested Books:
"The User Illusion"
"Information Arts"
